Vermont Specialty Slate was started in 1995 by the Sauder family in Goshen, Vermont, as a manufacturer of art slate for artist and stencil companies. Soon we moved into manufacturing and distributing roofing slate shingles and flooring slate. With a growing demand for landscape slate we also started supplying local landscapers and builders with landscape and veneer stone.  We provide personal delivery services to Boston and New York City Areas!
Today we have a yard and plant in Forest Dale, Vermont and manufacture and ship slate roofing, slate flooring tiles, trimmed slate flooring, landscape slate, and landscape stone.  Direct quarry access to fill your slate order!
